The term "nosh" has, in years past, signified a snack of some kind. Later on, it began to expand, taking on a meaning more akin to a light meal. Now the word tends to encompass either the above-stated "light meal" or a full meal, but one enjoyed in the company of friends, with lots of sharing, tasting and laughter.
